Introduction

The powered drill pipe box is a device that automatically stores and discharges drill pipe. Used in conjunction with a powered catwalk, it automatically grabs and places drill pipe from the mechanical drill pipe box onto the catwalk's slide arm, or grabs drill pipe from the catwalk's slide arm and systematically places it into the mechanical drill pipe box. This ensures orderly and stable storage of drill pipe, unaffected by waves, reduces labor intensity, improves operational safety, and enhances efficiency. This powered drill pipe box is specifically designed for use on exploration vessels and primarily consists of a mechanical drill pipe box, a base, a trolley mechanism, a lifting mechanism, a gripper mechanism, a hydraulic system, and an electronic control system.
